Prisoners welfare programs

Madinah Foundation has been working to improve the lives of prisoners all around the country for the last 12 years. This project aims to provide poisoners with essential support to go through everyday life in prison. Every year, the Foundation passes a budget for prisoners after visiting among prisons all around Pakistan and purchases various essentials like fans, water cooler plants, chillers, bulbs, gates, solar panels, tiles, bathrooms constructions, dispensaries and Exhaust Fans. In addition, the Foundation provides support to construct halls, toilets and other infrastructure to improve the premises of prisoners. The Foundation further provides suits, sweaters, socks, and blankets to inmates in the winter season to protect them in winter. /h1>

The Madinah Foundation also holds free medical camps in several Pakistani prisons and jails. Pakistan's jails are primarily overcrowded and underfunded, resulting in a general disregard for inmates' health and impoverished living. Moreover, due to a lack of sanitation, the convicts are prone to various infections and infectious diseases. Therefore, to improve prisoners' diets, the Foundation's pool funds to give a balanced and healthy diet three times a day and special meals during the Holy month of Ramadan to all prisoners incarcerated in Pakistan's jails.

Madinah Foundation also provides educational opportunities for prisoners to develop their knowledge and personalities by engaging in constructive activities and providing them with pre-requisites. The Foundation also offers financial support for those prisoners who are fined and lack the financial support to afford it.

The Foundation is now serving Prisons of Punjab and Sindh. Recently, they facilitated demands in Attock, Jhelum, Rawalpindi Adyala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Sukkar, Faisalabad, Dado, Banazir, Kusur, Jhaag, Bahawalpur and Sheikhupura.
