Haji Muhammad Salim sb sponsored free eye camps all over the world long before the Madinah Foundation was founded. It was not easy to set up an eye camp in a medically undeveloped city like Pakistan. To make it feasible, a highly qualified crew is on hand at the Madinah Eye Camp, and all of the necessary equipment has been imported from Germany and Italy. Doctors from MTH teach local workers how to maintain the machinery. Medina eye camps import cornea from Sri Lanka, where people usually donate their eyes for the wellbeing of the people, to undertake cornea transplants.
In 1993, the first Madinah eye camp was held. From that time until now, every patient in the camp has had access to free medical care. Three meals a day are supplied to the patients and their attendants. The foundation takes extra precautions to ensure that the meals, consumables, and surgical equipment are of the highest quality.
The organization also pays for the fare for a couple of the patients who have traveled from far away. Madinah Foundation takes extra precautions to ensure that the supply of everything is uninterrupted and that no one has to wait for anything. Everything needs to be easily accessible. Thousands of patients receive proper eye examinations and diagnoses each year at eye medical camps.

Eye camps were also held by the Madinah Foundation in various parts of the country. Every year, they hold fifteen-day camps in Mardan, Swat, Peshawar, Azad Kashmir, Quetta and its regions, rural areas of Punjab, and even Balochistan, where poverty-stricken people lack access to superior medical facilities.
The time had come to broaden the charitable circle. Similar Madinah Free eye camps have been held in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, China, Russia, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Thailand.
